Nought Collective Overview: (l. to r.: Aralia, Cycle, Paris)
The Nought Collective is the creation of Canadian designer Tracey Sawyer, who currently resides in New York, where she also runs her interior design practice, Igloo Design.
Each of her collections is based around a common theme, rendered in her distinctive outline-style. From the edgy Etu collection, to the playful Oto pieces, Sawyer reinterprets the world around us in her unique way.
Sawyer spent over one year perfecting the colours used in the knotting of her carpets. Carpets are available in Chalk, Graphite or Charcoal, either in all wool, or in combinations of wool, silk or cashmere.
All carpets are handknotted with Himalayan highland wool in Nepal, using only adult weavers. The Nought Collective is a proud supporter of GoodWeave, the non-profit organization working in Southeast Asia to combat child labour in the carpet industry.
